Arsenal players Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny delighted after France thrash Australia in international friendly.
France defeated Australia in an international friendly match 6-0 last night, and naturally Arsenal players Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny were buoyant afterwards.
Giroud played a major part, scoring twice in the first half before being substituted. The first was a brilliantly judged and inventive first time lob from Franck Ribery’s cutback, with the second a rare right foot finish after Manchester City playmaker Samir Nasri squared for him to fire home.
Koscielny’s minor calf complaint stopped him playing any part in the match, but he was still able to join in the celebrations.
He had a wide smile alongside Giroud in sharp suits as the Gunners striker posted this picture to social network Instagram of their success.
