Tigers need as many goalscorers as they can get their hands on.
Newly promoted Premier League outfit Hull City are interested in brining free agent Carlton Cole to the KC stadium this summer, according to reports in the Sun.
The experienced some-time England international was released by previous employers West Ham United at the end of last season after having spent seven highly successful campaigns with the Hammers.
However, West Ham head coach Sam Allardyce opted not to offer the giant 29-year-old a new deal to remain in the East End after the striker managed to find the back of the net on just two occasions in his 29 appearances in all competitions for the club in the previous campaign.
That, though, has not put off Hull boss Steve Bruce from making a move for Cole when the summer transfer window reopens for business on July 1, with the Tigers said to be keen to add as much firepower to their attack in the new season.
