Moses, Suarez and Sterling all abysmal for the Reds…
Liverpool
- 22 Mignolet – 6
Wasn’t at fault for any of the goals, to be fair.
- 02 Johnson – 5
Provided nothing going forward, and was sloppy in possession.
- 38 Flanagan – 6
One of the lesser culprits, but struggled to provide an attacking outlet down the left.
- 08 Gerrard – 7
Passed very well in the centre of the park, and scored a lovely free-kick in the first half.
- 04 Kolo Touré – 6
Toure was strangely selected over Daniel Agger, and although he was probably more effective than his central defensive partner, his performance will likely see him lose his spot next week.
- 37 Skrtel – 5
Two nasty deflections off the Slovakian cost the Reds two goals.
- 31 Sterling (Coutinho – 66′ ) 5 & 7
Despite the fact the Reds conceded two goals when he came on, Coutinho was the best player on the pitch during his 25 minute cameo.
- 21 Lucas – 5
Kept play ticking over nicely in the middle, but uncharacteristically gave the ball away often.
- 07 Suárez – 4
Easily Suarez’s worst game in a Liverpool shirt this season. Repeatedly gave the ball away.
- 14 Henderson – 5
Didn’t do anything of note all afternoon. Runs a lot, but doesn’t have the creative ability to make goalscoring chances for his teammates.
- 12 Moses (Luis Alberto – 74) 3 & n/a
Absolutely awful. Looked clumsy in possession, and completely bereft of ideas in the final third.
