The summer transfer window hasn’t opened yet, but we’ve already seen the announcement of Erling Haaland’s transfer to Manchester City, and further transfer rumours suggest some other major deals are already as good as done, pending official confirmation.
The usual big names are dominating the headlines as we approach the end of the season, with some uncertainty around the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, among others.
Those who take part in Canada Sports Betting will no doubt be keeping an eye on the markets in terms of possible movers this summer, and it may be worth sticking some money on a few deals below that look certain to go through imminently…
Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid
This one has been in the pipeline for a while, especially after PSG’s humiliating Champions League exit earlier this season.
Various sources now state that, despite late efforts from PSG to keep their star player, Kylian Mbappe has now agreed a huge move to Real Madrid.
The France international is a true Galactico, so should be perfect for Los Blancos, and what a piece of business to get him for free!
Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid
Another big-name free agent, Antonio Rudiger is also widely believed to have agreed a deal with Real Madrid already.
Thomas Tuchel recently confirmed the Germany international would be leaving Chelsea at the end of this season, and it’s surely not long now before we get an announcement from Spain.
Paul Pogba to Juventus
Another big name heading out of the Premier League will surely be Manchester United misfit Paul Pogba, who has held advanced talks over a return to Juventus.
Pogba had also been strongly linked with the likes of Manchester City and PSG, but Fabrizio Romano has been among the reporters to make it clear that he snubbed those offers and has made a return to Juve his preference.
It will be interesting to see the Frenchman back in Turin, where he looked world class before his underwhelming stint in Manchester.
Fabio Carvalho to Liverpool
Finally, Fabio Carvalho’s transfer from Fulham to Liverpool should be made official soon.
The Portuguese wonderkid has enjoyed an outstanding season in the Championship, with Liverpool almost signing him in January on deadline day.
There wasn’t quite enough time to finalise the deal, but various sources suggest this is now in place and will be announced within the next few days.
