Beckham keen on Italian job.
David Beckham is looking for one last spell in Italy before he ends his career, according to The Daily Mail.
The former England star played for the Italian giants on-loan during the winter off-season period while he was playing for LA Galaxy and was reportedly keen to make his return to the Rossoneri.
Physiotherapists and physical conditioners at the San Siro are famous for extending the careers of players well into their late thirties, having nurtured the likes of Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Costacurta and Clarence Seedorf well into the twilight of their careers and it was rumoured Beckham desired to make the most of their expertise.
Those hopes have been dashed however, after AC Milan turned down the proposal put forward by Beckham’s representatives. Although they are said to be re-considering their options, it appears increasingly likely that the move will not now materialise.
Beckham still has a number of options to choose from. The likes of PSG, Monaco, QPR, West Ham, as well as clubs from the Middle East and China, have all been linked with the player’s signature in recent weeks.
Rumours of a return to England have been swirling in recent weeks with the news that the Beckham children have been enrolled in one of London’s top private schools.
