Real Sociedad manager David Moyes is entering his second season in the La Liga following a long stint in the Premier League with Everton and Manchester United.
The Daily Mail reports that the Scottish manager has turned down multiple offers from Premier League clubs.
“This summer I received a lot of offers to return to the Premier League but I have decided to stay here because I believe in this project and I believe in the players we have – players who I know much better now,” Moyes said.
It is unknown which teams reached out to Moyes after the Scotman endured a tumultuous time at the helm of Manchester United.
After just one season at Old Trafford, Moyes was sacked by the Red Devils for leading them to a seventh-place finish.
This was the Red Devils’ first season following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Moyes previously spent an 11 years in charge of Everton.
The Toffees finished in the top seven in the majority of their seasons with Moyes at the helm.
Real Sociedad finished in 12th place in the La Liga standings after Moyes took over as their manager in November 2014.
