Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli faces an uncertain future this summer as he is expected to leave Anfield behind.

This is easier said than done given that Roberto Firmino and Christian Benteke add further competition. Balotelli isn’t likely to be given much of an opportunity again this season, so this is certainly one of the least likely options.
Whether or not Rodgers is willing to give him another chance to prove his worth remains to be seen, but he clearly didn’t respond well enough last season in a more reserved role.
