Everton look set to continue their superb summer dealing with the capture of Chelsea winger Christian Atsu on a season-long loan, according to reports from the Metro this evening.
Reports had previously suggested that the Toffees could see the deal fall through due to the amount of playing time being promised by manager Roberto Martinez, with Chelsea wanting the Ghanaian to be playing regular football for the duration of the season.
It looks as though this hitch has been worked past, however, and Everton are expected to unveil Atsu in the coming days, with the Ghanaian joining Brendan Galloway, Romelu Lukaku, Gareth Barry and Muhamed Besic in having signed for the club this summer.
A highly rated young winger signed from FC Porto, Atsu is well-regarded by the staff at Stamford Bridge and spent last season on loan with Eredivisie sister club Vitesse Arnhem.
