Everton could attempt to bring Spain international forward to Goodison Park on transfer deadline day.
Everton are planning a stunning raid on Sevilla for their striker Alvaro Negredo, according to BBC Sport.

The Spain international has been linked with a move to the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, but it now appears that the Toffees are favourites for his signature ahead of the north London rivals.
Still, both the Gunners and Spurs require a striker so if Everton have a bid accepted within their relatively low budget, there is still a chance that the richer pair could attempt to sabotage the bid for themselves.
Everton’s financial situation may actually surprise both clubs though – and their own fans too.
It was reported earlier this month that David Moyes, manager of the blue half of Merseyside, held recent talks with the club owners.
He attempted to persuade them to back him in the transfer market, with the justification that he felt he could reach the UEFA Champions League with a few additions.
Everton’s consistently high Premier League finishes have brought the club more prestige in recent seasons, and after years of cost-cutting, it no longer seems totally unrealistic for the club to sign someone of Negredo’s pedigree.
Perhaps that is an illustration of how far the Toffees have come under Moyes’ management.
