Teenage duo on Moyes’ radar.
The Toffees have lost regular right-back Seamus Coleman for four weeks with a thigh injury and Moyes has admitted that he is considering signing a replacement.
“Seamus’ injury has made me consider whether I have to bring in another right-back because we are short with what we have got,” confessed the Scot.
England youth international Stones, 18, has already been the subject of bids from Wigan, Fulham and Sunderland but Barnsley have so far been unwilling to sell.
Moyes, however, is hopeful that a £2m offer will persuade the Yorkshire club to part with the talented youngster.
Byram, meanwhile, stood out in Leeds fine FA Cup win over Tottenham on Sunday and Moyes is also monitoring the 19-year-old star.
