Chelsea forward Eden Hazard is being tipped to reject any offer that comes in from Real Madrid, with the Belgian international keen to continue his development at Stamford Bridge.
The 24-year-old has become regarded as world class since joining Chelsea from Lille in the summer of 2012, and has played a key part in his club’s success this season, helping them win the Capital One Cup and also to the top of the Premier League with just six games to go.
Real Madrid have strongly hinted at an interest in signing Hazard after quotes from their influential reserve team boss Zinedine Zidane, who is widely expected to become manager of the senior side one day.
Still, with plenty of competition for places due to the world class talent on the books at the Bernabeu at the moment, it may be that Hazard is keen to continue where he is for the moment, with a starting spot more guaranteed in Jose Mourinho’s side.
Real are known for their ‘Galactico’ signings and Hazard would certainly be one that fits the bill, though they look unlikely to be successful in their pursuit at the moment.
