The France international only arrived at Upon Park last summer, however, after picking up a thigh injury early in the campaign, the 31-year-old started just the one Premier League match for the East End club.
And the midfield player, who has been capped 44 times by les Blues, has told the French press that no one at Upton Park came to speak to him about his situation at the club.
“I have a three-year contract. I’m not unhappy financially, but I came to play, not to take an early retirement,” Diarra said.
“I am positively at breaking point. At all the clubs where I’ve been, I’ve always had a discussion with the coach, so I know what he expected of me, how the team plays, my positioning.
“But since my arrival at West Ham I never spoke with the manager. Every day is ‘Hello, goodbye’. There is no dialogue, no explanation.”
