‘The Worm’ has announced that he plans to be the first to visit the newly elected pope.
After his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un and becoming best friends, Rodman has next his next trip all planned out: he wants to meet the new pope.
The former NBA star, who played in the same Chicago Bulls team as Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, told TMZ.com that he ‘wants to be there when the white smoke fills the air’.
He goes on to add: “I want to be anywhere in the world that I’m needed … I want to spread a message of peace and love throughout the world.”
It seems that after his encounter with one world leader, Rodman has decided that it is now his duty to be the US ambassador to all figureheads across the world, and who has more followers than anyone else…The Pope of course.
If Rodman can become best friends with whoever is next elected, we may have to start referring him to as ‘Saint’ Dennis in years to come…
