Pair share entertaining exchange as Hall questions Sherman ability.
Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall and rival Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks have engaged in a war of words on Twitter.
Hall told a radio audience earlier this off-season exactly what he thought of Sherman’s game, and while he did praise him, he also pointed out certain limitations that he might have.
However, as opposed to going through the media with his critique, Hall addressed Sherman directly on Twitter on Thursday which ultimately led to an entertaining exchange between the pair.
I can't lie @RSherman_25 the world wants to see you lock up with guys like @Bigplaycj @DezBryant @ajgreen_18 all game long. I do too!!!!!!

Sherman, not one to shy away from speaking his mind, then returned fire with his own opinion on Hall’s game and comments, hitting back by insisting that he was a much better player than his rival, although he did stop short of getting personal a la Michael Crabtree.

Naturally, that wasn’t where things ended as Hall retorted although his tweets were later deleted, with Sherman tweeting later on Thursday thanking him for the motivation.

Nevertheless, Hall appeared to be sticking to his opinion that those around Sherman undoubtedly make him better, and while he respects his numbers and the excitement he brings on the field, it doesn’t necessarily translate into him being the best cornerback in the NFL.
