Courtois was beaten twice at St. James’ Park as Papis Cisse pounced in the second half – but the Belgian believes that a frustrating afternoon in the North East is something that he and his teammates have to put behind them as they head in to two games this week:
“There are only difficult games in the Premier League and we know that. The next game is in the Champions League at home and then against Hull, we have to win in front of our fans.”
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is likely to rotate for the midweek Champions League clash against Sporting Lisbon, with the Blues already having qualified as group winners, but he will be desperate for his side to respond against Hull City at Stamford Bridge next weekend.
