Arsenal look set to miss out on both Danny Welbeck and Loic Remy, with the Daily Mirror reporting that the two strikers are set for moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, respectively.
Manchester United misfit Welbeck has supposedly held talks over a possible move to the Emirates Stadium, but Spurs are now leading the race for his signature after also appearing to miss out on Remy, who looks set to leave Queens Park Rangers for a move to Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal are known to be in the market for a new signing upfront after losing Olivier Giroud to injury for four months, but may now have to look elsewhere as the transfer deadline draws nearer.
Tottenham have also been chasing a new signing in attack in this transfer window, and now look the favourites to take Welbeck on a season-long loan deal.
