Chelsea could be set to use former Atletico Madrid full-back Felipe Luis as bait to land midfield superstar Koke this summer, according to the Metro.
Mourinho is a reported fan of the the 23-year-old, and though he penned an extension with Atletico last year he remains a target at Stamford Bridge.
That new deal saw him lumped with a whopping £48m release clause, though sources close to the two clubs claim Chelsea will look to exploit the good relationship between the two to get a deal done.
Atletico are said to be keen to secure the return of Luis, who has struggled to establish himself in England this term, and the Blues hope that will be just one reason to convince them to listen to their offer.
However, Chelsea may have to fight off the likes of Barcelona, Manchester City and Manchester United if they hope to snap him up.
