Do Liverpool rue missing out on Loic Remy?
Loic Remy has not had much playing time since signing for Chelsea from local rivals Queens Park Rangers in this summer, with the Frenchman largely playing third fiddle behind Diego Costa and Didier Drogba – but that hasn’t stopped Remy from compiling an impressive goals-to-minutes ratio since arriving at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool are one club who will be looking particularly enviously at Remy’s ability to settle into the goalscoring groove at Stamford Bridge, having pulled the plug on a move for him the transfer window at the eleventh hour, seemingly due to medical concerns.
A lack of football has not stopped Remy from scoring more goals in just 160 minutes of Premier League action for Chelsea than Liverpool’s entire strike force of Mario Balotelli, Daniel Sturridge, Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert have managed between them.
Remy himself has also stuck the boot in, with quotes attributed to Goal.com discussing his injury status and the decision of Liverpool not to sign him:
“I have seen the best specialist in London and he has told me I can still play so it was not good from them,” he said.”
“There are a lot of players with the same case as me. I don’t know why the people think it is a big thing that can stop me playing football.”
