GK) Petr Cech
Obviously the ever present keeper will start in goal for the Premier League table toppers barring a late injury. He’s played every match in the league this season for the side that has conceded less goals than anyone else.
DR) Branislav Ivanovic
The Serbian is a guaranteed starter when fit, and put in an excellent display against Newcastle at the weekend. He’s defensively solid, but also provides a consistent outlet up the right flank.
DC) Gary Cahill
Cahill has been exceptional for Chelsea recently, and provides the side with a commanding physical presence at the back. He could well take over the captain’s armband when Terry eventually hangs up his boots.
DC) David Luiz
Terry missed the weekend’s fixture with an injury, meaning the Brazilian centre-back should retain his place at the back. He’s proved his adeptness in holding midfield recently, but he’s equally as comfortable at centre-half.
DL) Cesar Azpiliceuta
The Spaniard starts ahead of Ashley Cole on the left of the back four nowadays, although it’s possible that Mourinho will select the veteran Englishman with Chelsea having played only three days ago.
