How the Blues are likely to start against Palace.
Crystal Palace host Chelsea at Selhurst Park knowing that they will be up against it when they take on the Premier League leaders.
The Blues are unbeaten after seven matches with six victories so far and Neil Warnock’s men will have to be at their very best to even sneak a point.
Here is how fanatix thinks the West Londoners will lineup.
GK – Thibaut Courtois
Suffered a nasty head injury last time out against Arsenal, but played for Belgium during the international break and should be fine to retain his place between the sticks.
RB – Branislav Ivanovic
Has been greatly impressing at right-back and loves breaking forward, although could have to be sharp defensively against a Palace side who like to attack.
CB – Gary Cahill
A real rock at the back and is becoming the natural successor to captain John Terry as the 33-year-old nears that little bit closer to retirement with each passing match.
CB – John Terry
The skipper defies his age with his performances and is still among the finest centre-backs in the entire English top tier.
LB – Cesar Azpilicueta
Unfortunately for new signing Filipe Luis the form of this Spain international continues to keep him out of the starting XI.
