Chelsea star Kevin de Bruyne faces uncertain future at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been sent to train with the reserves by Jose Mourinho, and is seemingly being frozen out by the Portuguese manager.
The Belgian star was widely praised for his performances at the beginning of the season, starting matches against Hull City and Manchester United, but like Juan Mata before him, now appears to be out of Mourinho’s plans.
De Bruyne was not included in the match squad to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, will not travel with the Blues to Romania to face Steaua Bucharest in the UEFA Champions League.
After a brilliant campaign on loan at Werder Bremen last season, the Daily Mail report that De Bruyne was personally convinced by Jose Mourinho not to leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis again.
Still just 22 years of age, De Bruyne now has work to do if he is to revive his Chelsea career.
