Jose Mourinho’s men assessed following draw at the Etihad Stadium.
Premier League leaders Chelsea claimed a 1-1 draw at title rivals Manchester City on Sunday.
The visitors took the lead on 71 minutes, shortly after Pablo Zabaleta had been shown a red card by referee Mike Dean.
Substitute Andre Schurrle scored the Chelsea goal, but the lead did not last, with Frank Lampard coming off the bench to equalise against his former club.
Here’s how Chelsea rated:
Thibaut Courtois – 8/10
Did not make that many genuine saves, as City only had four shots on target, including Lampard’s goal. However, Courtois still managed to impress, largely through his dominance at defensive set-pieces.
Branislav Ivanovic – 7/10
Disciplined defensively, Ivanovic did not venture forward too often, but his passive-aggressive attacking philosophy saw him drive Chelsea on to the game’s opening goal.
