The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City could be on red alert as reports have emerged that Barcelona star Lionel Messi is eager to quit the club, according to the Guardian.

The Argentine, regarded as one of the best players of all time, has not quite been at his best this season, and that may be down to claims that he is ‘fed up’ at the club and looking to leave Spain.
Messi has been hounded over unpaid taxes and faces a possible jail sentence, and a source close to the player has been quoted as saying that he wants a move away from the Nou Camp.
The 27-year-old has been with the Catalan giants for his entire career so far, but could now be on his way to England after recently attracting interest from the likes of Chelsea and United.
