Mourinho has been impressed by the performances of Drogba since he returned to the club from Turkish giants Galatasaray in the summer, with the Ivorian notching some crucial goals as an impact substitute for Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager indicated that he had told Drogba it should be up to him to decide when his time at the club and as a player has come to a close – rather than the club or his manager.
