Blues lining up move for world class midfield youngster.
Chelsea are reportedly preparing to smash their transfer record to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba in a £60m deal next summer, according to CaughtOffside.
The Blues’ current transfer record fee is the £50m they paid for Fernando Torres back in 2011, but they are hoping to spend big again here in an effort to beat the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain to Pogba’s signature.
The 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world, having shone since he left Old Trafford back in 2012 when he’d failed to break into the first-team.
Arsenal have also been linked strongly with Pogba recently, eyeing him up as part of a mammoth spending spree from Arsene Wenger’s £170m war chest.
