Falcao’s current deal at Monaco is worth a reported £265k-a-week, and according to The Mirror the Ligue 1 side is keen to offload the Colombian in an attempt to help balance the books.
It is believed Falcao is already in talks with the Blues over a possible move, however the former Atletico Madrid man will have to be content with being behind Diego Costa and Loic Remy in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge upon his arrival.
Falcao was thoroughly disappointing during his season with the Red Devils, scoring just four times in 26 Premier League appearances.
However, Chelsea will be pinning its hopes on Falcao making a dramatic return to the form that saw him become one of the world’s best strikers during his time at Atletico.
