Blues may team up once again with former coach.
Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has given his strongest indication yet that he will make a long-awaited return to the Premier League at the end of this season.
The Portuguese is currently enjoying an up-and-down campaign in the Spanish capital, with the Liga champions well off the pace in their attempts to retain their league title, but still in both the Champions League and the Copa del Rey.
And, the self-styled ‘Special One’ has admitted that he misses working in England, where he has unfinished business after his sudden departure from Stamford Bridge in 2007.
“England, I know it. I like it a lot and I want to go back one day,’ Mourinho said in an interview on French radio.
“Because I only spent three years with Chelsea, and I want to go back and work (in England) one day.
“We have to think about the Champions League and the Copa del Rey. It’s an objective for me (to win the Champions League), but I don’t think you should be obsessed. You have to understand that other teams can win the competition. They also have the potential to do it.”
