Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud has had his say on the hardest defender in the English top flight in a fan Q&A session for Gunners fans.
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud says that Chelsea’s versatile defender Branislav Ivanovic is the toughest defender he’s faced in the Barclays Premier League.
The Gunners ace was taking part in a question and answer session with the north London club’s fans, and revealed he feels facing the west London club’s Serbian colossus was the most difficult individual battle he’s had – but Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany was a close second.
Finally, he had a kind word for his own team-mate – and best friend at Emirates Stadium – Laurent Koscielny.
