Blues set to seal deal for Sami Khedira.
Chelsea are leading Arsenal when it comes to the battle for central midfielder Sami Khedira on a free transfer at the end of the season, report the Daily Mail, with the German international not looking likely to sign a new deal at the Bernabeu.

Khedira has been playing third fiddle behind Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the Real Madrid midfield this season and, despite an injury to the Croatian, it appears that young Spaniard Asier Illarramendi will be given the chance to impress.
This could sell the death knell for Khedira at Real Madrid, with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea both keen to sign him on a free transfer – although it appears to be Jose Mourinho’s men who look most likely to secure the World Cup winning star.
