The Lions have cut seven players from its list, the second year in a row the club has made sweeping changes to its playing stocks.
The Brisbane Lions have cut seven players from its list ahead of the upcoming AFL trade and free agency period.
James Polkinghorne, Andrew Raines, Patrick Wearden and Jordan Lisle have all been delisted, along with rookies Sam Michael, Nick Hayes and Isaac Conway.
The decisions come off the back of retirements from club legend Jonathan Brown, Ash McGrath and Brent Moloney and its the second season in a row the Lions have made sweeping changed to its playing stocks.
The Lions made 13 changes to its squad last season, bringing in the likes of Trent West and Luke McGuane from rival AFL clubs, as well as bringing in James Aish, Lewy Taylor and Darcy Gardiner through the AFL Draft.
Brisbane finished in 15th place on the AFL ladder in 2015 after winning just seven games.
