We take a look at the 25 signings made by Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool manager.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has received plenty of flack in the media recently for his poor record in the transfer market, which is seen as a huge contributing factor to the club’s poor form in both domestic and continental football this season.
Is Rodgers’ record as bad as is made out, however? We’ve rated all 25 of his signings since taking over at Anfield to get a clearer picture:
Fabio Borini (AS Roma, £10.4m, 4/10) – A player that Rodgers knew well, but who only Gus Poyet has been able to get performances out of.
Joe Allen (Swansea City, £15m, 7/10) – A solid and reliable performer, but one who perhaps cost a little bit too much.
