Orlando Magic head coach Jacque Vaughn has been given the pink slip after another slow start by his team.
The Orlando Magic have continued to suffer without the presence of center Dwight Howard, who is now with the Houston Rockets.

Howard had become disgruntled with the Magic due to his relationship with former head coach Stan Van Gundy and their inability to win a title.
Former Magic point guard Jacque Vaughn was hired as their head coach, and their stint with him was an epic failure as they were unable to finish higher than the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference.
After a 15-37 start to the 2014-15 season, the Magic have finally had enough as Vaughn has been fired after just two full seasons as the Magic head coach.
“There’s never an ideal time to make a change of this magnitude. As the season progressed, we just felt like a change needed to be made and this was the time to do it. Plain and simple,” Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said to ESPN.com.
Assistant coach James Borrego has been named the interim head coach for the Magic.
The team will look to finish strong despite their playoff chances looking slim, since they are 7.5 games out of the final playoff seed in the East, which is currently held by the Miami Heat.
