Palace sack Holloway.
Crystal Palace have parted company with manager Ian Holloway by mutual consent, according to various sources.
Palace have called a press conference for 5.30pm on Wednesday and speculation is rife that Holloway will depart after just one victory in the club’s opening eight Premier League matches, with ITV claiming the 50-year-old has been sacked and the Daily Mail reporting that the decision was made mutually.
Palace lost 4-1 at home to London rivals Fulham on Monday and it appears the defeat was the final straw for former Blackpool boss Holloway.
The manager led Palace to an unlikely promotion via the play-offs after less than a year at the helm but was forced to do business on a shoestring budget this summer.
