Reus has been linked with numerous top clubs across Europe, including the two London rivals, but Real have muscled into the race for the former Borussia Monchengladbach man and are set to add him to their array of stunning attacking talent.
The German international, who missed the World Cup through injury, is reportedly learning Spanish ahead of a potential move and the Express quote a football agent who suggests that the deal is close:
“Real Madrid will sign Reus and operation will close within days.”
“It is a very important player, if it comes to Real Madrid would be the icing for long-term project.”
“He is following in a while and you want the best clubs, but he said no to all but the Real Madrid.”
