According to respected football journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft, Chelsea have approached Bayern Munich and told them they are willing to pay whatever it takes to secure midfield ace Toni Kroos…
Spoke to an insider in Munich. Said Chelsea apparently have told Bayern to “name the price” for Toni Kroos. Told player “wages no problem”

Fjortoft reckons that Chelsea will also offer the 24-year-old German whatever wages he demands, after the midfielder rejected Bayern’s offer of an extension on the deal that expires in 2015.
A transfer will definitely not happen this January, but could be discussed in the summer should Bayern want to cash in on the world-class operator.
Kroos is very composed in midfield, and can play as a deep-lying playmaker, or pushed further up the field. He regularly makes key passes, and has scored once and assisted three goals for the unbeaten Bundesliga side this term.
