Betting has a “special” vocabulary. Although, many terms are easy and understandable, there are several terms that we either encounter for the first time or do not know precisely what they mean. Exact Score: The final score after the end of the 90 minutes of the match. Extension is not included unless stated in the terms.
Exact Scorecast: It is the bet where the player bets on the final result of the match and the first scorer to score a goal.
American Bet: It is the special bet where the player bets on the victory of the home or away team, and the tie corresponds to one point, and the bet amount is refunded.
Betting Exchange: These are bets made without the Bookmaker’s mediation, but the odds and winnings are bought by another player.
Own goal: The special bet that predicts whether an own goal will be scored in a football match.
Yield: It is the percentage of profit paid to players in case of success.
Arbitrage Bet: It is the type of bet that the player bets on all three points (win, draw, defeat) so that success is certain. The selection is made by different bookmakers that ensure the highest odds of the betting market. You will also find your sure bets.
Asian Handicap: The special bet gives a goal advantage in football or points in a basketball game before starting a game. E.g., if there is +1 goal in the home team then to come 1st match must win by at least 2 goals difference (2-0, 3-1, 4-2, 3-0, etc.). In case of a tie, the amount of the bet is refunded.
Accumulator Bet: The term Parlay is also used as Paroli bet. It is the bet in which the player combines 2 or more events in the same coupon. The bet that will catch all the events is won.
Anytime Scorer: A player to score at any time during the match.
Antepost: Long-term bet such as winning the Champions League.
Back: The most common way of betting. Bet in favor of a point.
Betting Limits: These are the betting limits within which a player can bet. These limits are set by the Bookmaker, who determines the minimum and maximum bets on each bet.
Bookings: It is a Special Bet in which the player predicts whether the sum of the cards in a match is greater or less than the limit set by the Bookmaker. Each yellow card counts for 10 points, and each red card counts for 25 points.
CVC: Corresponds to the Card Verification Code. This code is located on the back of the credit card and is required on all telephone or internet deposits.
Rake (Juice): It is the profit percentage of the Bookmaker.
Goal-Goal (GG): The scoring of both teams.
Double Result (Half/Final): It is the bet where the player must achieve the first half and the final match.
Double Chance: It is a special bet where the player can choose two results at the same time (1X, 12, X2).
Draw No Bet: The special bet where the player bets on the home or away team’s victory with a draw to return the amount of the bet. Similar to American Betting.
Decimal Odds: It is the type of odds that are widely used to calculate each success. They are also called European odds and are expressed in numbers such as 1.20,1.40, 1.70, etc.
Dead-heat: When in a sporting event, two or three participants occupy the same position.
Draw no bet: A type of bet in which the offered event if draws, you will be refunded the bet amount you have a bet.
Special Bet: It is the category of bets that includes all types of bets except the classic 1, X, and 2.
European Handicap: It is a special bet that gives an advantage goal in soccer or basketball points before the race. There is a complete handicap in a team, and its difference from the Asian is that there is a draw for success.
Eco Card: A service through which deposits and withdrawals can be made in a player’s account.
Fixed Odds: These are the default odds (pregame).
