Tony Romo made his return to Dallas for the first time since suffering a serious back injury in December. Against the Ravens, he had a perfect passer rating.
The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Dallas Cowboys 37-30 in Week 2 of the NFL preseason.
After starting the game 14-10, the Ravens scored 20 unanswered points to give them a 34-10 lead early in the 3rd quarter. The Cowboys rallied with 21 points of their own to cut the lead to 34-30, but a Ravens FG with 0:21 remaining gave them the lead for good.
Cowboys QB Tony Romo, in his first game since suffering a herniated disk against the Redskins in December, went 4 of 5 for 80 yards and a TD with one fumble lost. He finished the game with a perfect passer rating. WR Dez Bryant caught everything thrown his way, making 3 catches for a team-leading 59 yards and a TD.
Ravens QB Joe Flacco went 9 of 17 for 113 yards and a TD. RB Lorenzo Taliafero had 59 yards on 16 carries and a TD while Bernard Pierce had 7 carries for 55 yards. WR Jacoby Jones led the Ravens with 49 receiving yards on 3 catches.
The Ravens had a scare when RB Ray Rice suffered a shoulder injury, but the X-Ray came back negative for any damage. Rice will be suspended for two games to start the season.
