United assistant throws support behind Bale pursuit.
Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs would appear keen for his club to sign his fellow Welshman Gareth Bale after showering him with praise this week, according to the Daily Star.
The Real Madrid winger has recently been linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford after reports that he could be an alternative target to Cristiano Ronaldo, and Giggs may be attempting to lure him to the club with enormous compliments aboout his quality.
“I think he could be the best (Welsh player),” Giggs said.
“He can be as good as he wants to be because he’s such an amazing talent. He can go all the way.”
Bale became the most expensive player of all time last summer as he joined Real in an £85m move from Tottenham Hotspur, and he is now said to be valued at £90m by the Spanish giants.
