USA international Brad Guzan wants to remain at Villa Park.
Brad Guzan is ready to reject interest from Arsenal to stay at Aston Villa.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has watched Guzan, 29, on a number of occasions this season after being impressed by the goalkeeper during Villa’s 3-1 win over Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
The USA international signed a new four-year deal over the summer and says he wants to repay the faith of Villa boss Paul Lambert by remaining at Villa Park.
“Aston Villa, they’ve stuck by me, especially the manager. He’s given me a chance to play consistent football in Europe,” said Guzan.
“It’s always nice when you’re linked with other teams, but for me, I’m very happy at Aston Villa.”
And Guzan believes the future in bright at Villa.
He added: “It’s a club that I think is definitely on the rise, and it’s something I want to be a part of.”
