It’s a top of the table clash in Ligue 1 as title favourites AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain go head-to-head at the Stade Louis II.
Reigning champions PSG currently top the French top tier, but fellow big spenders Monaco are only five points behind the Parisians and a win in this tie would close that gap.
The hosts only returned to the division following a two-year absence in Ligue 2, but the funding of Russian billionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev has helped them become title contenders.
The Principality club spent over £150m on the likes of Radamel Falcao, James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho in the summer of 2013 and catapulted themselves to the Champions League places.
However, Monaco suffered a huge blow in January when club record £50m signing Falcao was ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury and the pressure will be on Emmanuel Riviere to fill the void.
They also brought in Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov on-loan in the January transfer window, but losing the talented Colombian will still be a massive loss.
There is no such problems in attack for PSG, who made their own expensive purchase in the summer when acquiring Edinson Cavani from Napoli for £55m.
Between the Uruguay international and top-scorer and talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic they have an incredible 43 goals in all competitions this term.
