ESPN journalist Ben Dinnery has revealed that Arsenal playmaker Alexis Sanchez is currently struggling with muscular fatigue.
Alexis, who signed for the Gunners in a £35m move from Barcelona last summer, is currently on international duty with Chile.
His nation play Bolivia in their final group game of Copa America 2015 on Saturday.
A win would guarantee Chile top spot in Group A and therefore a favourable draw in the quarter-finals.
Chile are favourites to beat Bolivia, but they will be less confident of getting three points if they are without Sanchez, who has scored 26 goals in 82 senior international appearances.
Sanchez featured in 35 of Arsenal’s 38 Premier League games last season, scoring 16 goals – more than any other Gunners player.
Is he suffering from burnout?
