Both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur come into this match with heavily depleted squads but a North London derby is never a tame affair, with pride and local bragging rights – not to mention a place in the FA Cup fourth round – at stake.

The hosts will be without strikers Olivier Giroud and Nicklas Bendtner, meaning Lukas Podolski is likely to lead the line alone. The Gunners are also missing star midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil, so Gedion Zelalman, 16, could make club history by becoming the first player born after Arsene Wenger was appointed manager to make his debut under the Frenchman.
Spurs are also facing an injury crisis, with Brazilian duo Sandro and Paulinho joined on the sidelines by the likes of Jan Vertonghen, Younes Kaboul, Gylfi Sigurdsson and record-signing Erik Lamela.
Head-coach Tim Sherwood has confirmed that Emmanuel Adebayor is fit to face his former club after suffering cramp in the 2-1 win at Manchester United on Wednesday.
