London trio tracking enforcer, who has made it clear he wants to leave Ligue 1 this month.
Arsenal, Tottenham and QPR are all interested in a deal for France international midfielder Etienne Capoue.
QPR vs Arsenal tickets are still available for the London derby at Loftus Road on 4 May!
The 24-year-old has made it clear he wants to leave Toulouse before the end of January, with London now looking his most likely destination.
French source Sport24 reports that both QPR and Spurs are interested in the talented enforcer, while fanatix understands that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger remains interested in Capoue.
One stumbling block for the Premier League trio is Toulouse’s £13.8m valuation of the player, although with Capoue agitating for a move, the Ligue 1 outfit could drop their asking price as Thursday’s transfer deadline approaches.
Capoue has been on fine form for Toulouse so far this term, bagging four goals in 20 appearances and impressing in a defensive midfield role.
The versatile France international can also cover at centre-half – a problem position for both Wenger and Hoops manager Harry Redkanpp.
With question marks remaining over Abou Diaby’s ability to remain fit, Arsenal are in need of a new defensive midfielder this month although Wenger has stressed that he will only buy players who improve the Gunners first-team.
Spurs, meanwhile, lost enforcer Sandro for the season after the Brazilian underwent knee surgery and are considering strengthening their midfield before transfer deadline day.
QPR have been linked with a host of defensive midfield players, including Rennes’ Yann M’Vila – who has now joined Zenit St Petersburg – and Spurs youngster Jake Livermore.
But, with the R’s five points adrift of safety and rooted to the foot of the Premier League, Redknapp is struggling to complete any deals.
