That has persuaded Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger, to return to the transfer market once again.
Morata is said to represent the perfect stop-gap to Wenger, as he is capable of adding depth to the Gunners’ squad up-front without forcing them to part with significant sums of money.
Wenger is wary of the need for a consistent goal-getter as his side attempt to secure a Champions League qualification position.
