Gunners targeting Virgil van Dijk and Winston Reid.
Arsenal’s defensive crisis of depth has concerned manager Arsene Wenger so much that the Frenchman is planning on bringing two new central defenders to the Emirates Stadium in January, report Goal, with Celtic star Virgil van Dijk and West Ham United defender Winston Reid both targeted by the Gunners.

Both players have been linked with numerous Premier League clubs during recent weeks, with both expected to be amongst the most sought after defenders in the January transfer window.
Van Dijk has consistently shown quality above the level of the Scottish Premier League since moving to Celtic Park from the Eredivisie, whilst New Zealand international Reid could well prove to be a bargain for a top Premier League club due to the fact that his contract is due to expire at the end of the current season.
