Gunners make offer for German international.
Arsenal hope to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz this January and have made an opening offer of £3.7m, according to the Metro.
The 26-year-old can fill in a number of different positions, and has mostly been used as a right-back during his time with Dortmund, though he is equally capable further forward on the right or left flank or as a central midfielder.
Arsene Wenger has had numorous injuries to contend with this season, and there’s no doubt Grosskreutz could be useful as cover in a number of key areas.
With Mathieu Debuchy and Mikel Arteta out injured, it seems likeliest that the German international would be brought in to fill in either of those roles.
