Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin has agreed to join Arsenal this summer, according to reports in France.
French newspaper L’Equipe claim that the Gunners have beaten off competition from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool by convincing Schneiderlin to move to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.
Schneiderlin and Arsenal have reportedly struck a “personal agreement”.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger tried and failed to sign the 25-year-old last year.
However, it seems that Wenger’s perseverance will pay off. Schneiderlin, who has scored three goals in 16 Premier League matches so far this season, is valued at around £15m.
