Arsenal are still very much in the chase for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, and could make a £15m offer for his services, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Danish target man Nicklas Bendtner will almost definitely leave in the summer when his contract expires, meaning Arsene Wenger will need to invest in his squad.
At just 21-years-old, Morata is rated as one of the most promising young Spanish players, but his playing time this season has been limited at the Bernanbeu.
Because of the current form of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, it looks as though Morata will have to be content with a spot on the bench for the remainder of the season.
This term, Morata has only been given one La Liga start, but he’s managed to score three goals during his 12 cameo appearances off the bench.
The striker is reportedly happy to leave his boyhood club in the summer in search of more regular first-team football, and if Arsenal stump up the required £15m, the youngster could well be playing Premier League football next season.
