Crocked Arsenal forward gives fans boost ahead of Premier League opener.
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott has dropped a huge hint that he is well on course for an early return to first team duties after he posted a video on himself doing sprint training to Instagram.
Walcott has been injured since the turn of the year but is near a full recovery and this clip shows him working on his strongest assest: his speed.
The accompanying caption reads “Getting #Stronger & #Quicker everyday!!!! #SpeedMatters”
Though it is unlikely that he will be involved in Saturday’s encounter with Crystal Palace he could very well be involved in first team activities again before the end of the month.
Walcott’s injury kept him out of England’s ill-fated World Cup campaign, but he is now just behind Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in terms of his recovery.
