Mathieu Debuchy could be out until Christmas.
Arsenal have been dealt a major injury blow, report the Mirror, with summer signing and first choice right back Mathieu Debuchy potentially ruled out of action for three months after suffering an ankle injury during the weekend’s 2-2 draw with Manchester City.

Arsene Wenger’s inaction in the transfer market this summer left the club worryingly short on bodies at the back and, whilst teenager Calum Chambers can slot in at right back, this leaves left back Nacho Monreal as the only cover at centre half, unless another youngster, Hector Bellerin, is drafted in at full back.
Having sold former captain Thomas Vermaelen to Barcelona and allowed young Spaniard Ignasi Miquel to join Norwich City this summer, Wenger has just six senior players covering the four defensive positions, meaning that an injury such as that suffered by Debuchy could prove to be a nightmare for the Gunners.
